INTRO [G C G D G C G D G C G D G C G ]

Well did you ever come to know about the deeds of Major Joe [C, G, D, G ]

What is fair? What is right? Do you think you will sleep good tonight? [C, G, D, G]
Is it time to run or time to fight? You gotta know just where you stand [C, G, Am, Dsus4 ]
You might have guns to make the peace but your words are how you show your teeth [C,G D, G]
so what do you say when you speak? Come tell all that you've planned [C, G, Am, C, D ]
to Major Joe, and then we'll know [G, C, G, D] [G, C, G, D]
how the rapids flowwhich way to go [G, C, G, D] [G, C, G, ]
